The Ag Biz Planner Program is funded in part by a grant from the NC Tobacco Trust Fund Commission. Carolina Farm Credit will accept 10 YBSM famers/farm families to participate in a 10 module online course that is designed to:
- Assist young, beginning, small and minority farmers in becoming more successful business people through knowledge of the marketplace, financial and business management topics.
- Teach each farmer valuable skills that will enable them to develop a useful, meaningful, strategic business plan for their own business.
Interested applicants living in the Carolina Farm Credit territory must complete the application below to be considered.
Deadline for application submission is Sept. 1
The ten-module program, being facilitated by Farm Credit University, consists of interactive exercises, an objective test, and application exercises. Curriculum topics will include:
